Developed by RHM Interactive as part of their wildly popular “Random” sports series, Basket Random Pro first appeared online on April 21, 2020, and has since been played over 100 million times on the web alone. The game takes traditional basketball and throws every rule out the window. You control two wobbly stickman players simultaneously with a single button, and their movements are governed by ragdoll physics — meaning they’ll do almost anything except what you expect.
The one-button control scheme is deceptively simple. Press your key and both your players jump, their long arms flailing toward the ball. Release at the right moment and they’ll shoot. But because of the physics engine, your perfectly timed shot might turn into a spectacular own goal, or your defensive jump could accidentally knock the ball into your own basket. It’s frustrating, hilarious, and absolutely addictive.
What really keeps things fresh is the randomness that changes after every point scored. The court might shift from a city street to a beach to a snowy field where the ground becomes slippery. Your players’ bodies change too — sometimes they’ll have comically long arms, other times tiny heads or massive bodies.
