How To Play Nerdle
Each guess must be a valid mathematical equation — digits 0–9 and the operators + - * / = are your only tools. Type your equation using the on-screen keyboard and press Enter to submit. The equation has to be mathematically correct before Nerdle will accept it, so 1+1=3 won’t fly.
After each guess, tiles change colour to guide you. Green means the character is correct and in the right position. Purple means it appears in the equation but in a different spot. Black means that character doesn’t appear anywhere in the solution. Use this feedback to narrow down your next equation.
Remember that standard order of operations applies — 2+3*4=14, not 20. The equals sign always comes before the result, and the result is always on the right.
